The amount, the ease of access (TV, Internet), and the social acceptance of pornography in our current culture is unprecedented.  Likewise, so is the damage that is caused by pornography - to those involved in the porn industry, those who view it, couples, families and society as a whole.  We as Christians need to fight against this enemy.

Scientific studies have revealed that certain chemicals are released in males when they view pornography which can result in an addiction.  With all addictions, the best defense is to never start.  If that's too late (which will be the case for almost all males in the US over the age of 10 due to the ease of access), then the sooner it is treated, the easier it will be to overcome.

Although this problem is predominantly a "guy thing", girls also have their issues with gossip, soap operas, etc., which can also cause serious problems.
